These are the paintings on show there,
The gallery is open all year Tuesday to Saturday 10h - 18h
I am there every Thursday and the forth Saturday of the month
My atelier at home in Autignac will still be open Friday and Saturday afternoons,

I have been more and more inspired to paint portraits, the face is afterall a landscape of hills and valleys; Praying to achieve a likeness, but also wanting to catch the character of the sitter.

Linogravure

During the pandemic I found inspiration difficult, once life started again felt I needed a kick start to get into my creative mind set.
So started exploring linogravure, working in a very different way to my painting practise.
What is Linogravure?
The image is engraved by hand into a plate of linoleum in reverse, you can look at negative shapes (around objects) or the outline of the subject. Then roll the inks on to the plate and press onto paper.

In February 2024 I travelled to Delhi in India to work with ASHA Education charity in the slum colony of Seelampur. I had no expectations, was welcomed with love and open arms.
The group I travelled with were all teachers from Discovery Trust in Leicestershire UK, we worked with the children and young adults and celebrated ASHA's founding 35years ago by Dr Kiran Martin, a woman with a large heart and super powers.
