En revenant de chez mon encadreur à Azille, je suis passé sur le pont du canal du midi à Capestang, où j'avais une exposition à venir.
C'était un matin brumeux et les amandiers en fleurs étaient vibrants devant St Etiene, normalement je travaille en plein air, mais il n'y avait pas d'endroit pratique pour s'arrêter et installer mon chevalet. J'ai donc pris un certain nombre de photos et j'ai travaillé en studio sur ce tableau. J'espère qu'elle vous plaira
Traveling back from my framers in Azille, I passed over the bridge of the canal du midi in Capestang, where I had an exhibition coming up.
It was a misty morning and the almond blossom was vibrant before St Etiene, normally I work en plein air, but there was no convenient place to stop and put up my easel. So I took a number of photographs and worked in the studio on this one. I hope you like it
