My hortensia loose their colour quite early here in the south of France, I thought this was good practice mixing different greens and studying value.

I added the scarf which turned the normal colour focus upside down for a flower painting.
The shells were from Pòrtiragnes my favourite beach.
I love the freedom of large brush marks on a big canvas
