We watched a storm moving in from the west of the Etang du Thau, whilst I was painting this, I loved the traditional boat with the french tricolour flying on the aft deck. When i finished painting the heavens opened, luckily I had packed away. Painting en plein air is always in the hands of God even in the south of France

Nous avons regardé une tempête arriver de l'ouest de l'Etang du Thau, pendant que je peignais ceci, j'ai aimé le bateau traditionnel avec le tricolore français qui vole sur le pont arrière. Quand j'ai fini de peindre, le ciel s'est ouvert, heureusement que j'avais fait mes bagages. La peinture en plein air est toujours entre les mains de Dieu, même en août dans le sud de la France.
